For those of you watching the numbers,

Gas today was $2.12.

Which is a dang good thing, since the latest definition of rich is now $120,000.   Less than half of the $300,000 original definition of rich you were lulled into a false sense of security with at the beginning of the campaign.

Watch out middle class, they're coming for us next.

Our gas is low too...$2.49 last I saw.

I've got nothing to worry about for awhile... I'm still a poor college student.
....which doesn't actually make me feel any better :(

You won't always be a poor college student. And let's hope that by the time you get your first job, they haven't dropped it again. It's less than half what it started, it could be half that in another year. That's only $75K and remember, that's FAMILY income. Say you fall in love, get married. You become a teacher. Your beloved gets a normal not rich person job of "help desk clerk" Take the average salaries for those two things, suddenly y'all are a household of $85,358! Suppose you snag a really rich person, like say a physical therapist -- now the two of you are up to $118,000. One of you gets one little raise, and suddenly you're rich.

guh... depressing thought :(

on the bright side my parents have like less than 40k in retirement funds. So I can just live with them until I've got my own dependents... yay automatic household levelers.
Don't worry it wasn't my idea to be here for ever... my mom has declared she's coming with us (my sister or I) where ever we go... married or not. And my parents started having kids in their thirties... so they're not far away eight years max until retirement.
(wow this could make me sound like douche... but yeah I like having my family around so it's all good :) )

It's nice to have family around if you're close.
