Rules of the Game

A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs and replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

B) Tag eight people to do this quiz and those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people state who they are tagged by and cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.

 

1. How has LJ changed your life?
I've become addicted to fan fiction, and I've met some really interesting women.

2. What do you do before bedtime?
There's a whole ritual.  fix glass of ice water, take pill, turn off lights in house, brush teeth, take out contacts, blah blah blah.

3. What will your dream wedding be like?
It's a little late for that.  I never really thought about the wedding, so Mark and I eloped.  Then, on our 20th Anniversary we had a marriage blessing in the Catholic church,  Everyone was there, from both families, and many many friends.  It was incredible to be able to get everyone together in one spot at one time.  It was the last family gathering for the Ostranders with Rose.  She had her stroke not long after, on Easter Sunday, and died a year later, never having fully recovered.  We are all grateful for the happy memories of that day.  It was a heck of a party.

4. What is the city of your dreams and why?
San Francisco.  I fell in love with it when we lived in Sacramento.  Of course,  you have to be a millionaire to live there.

5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
I'm an introverted extrovert.   I need a lot of alone time, but I love to be around people too, and have a streak of downright exhibitionism.

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
The "correct answer" of course is to love.  Like giving being more blessed than receiving.  They are both incredible blessings. I can't say one is more blessed than the other.

7. Do you trust easily?
I'm cautiously trusting.  I give people the benefit of the doubt, but I only give that benefit once.

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Well, there's the whole Me being attached thing, so I'm not interested in any other real person.  Of course, I've had a few "crushes" on fictional characters  -- Batman , Rhett Butler, Qui Gon Jinn, and the exquisite Henry Fitzroy, Vampire Prince.

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
I try not to carry problems to unhappiness.  I'm fairly disgustingly Pollyanna. 

10. What is your best quality?
There are so many.  My best, my strength.  Which keeps me going, so I can use the other qualities.

11. Is being tagged fun?
not always, sometimes.   having to pick people to tag is a little stressful

12. How do you see yourself?
As a strong, capable, sexy, intelligent, grown-up woman.

13. Who are currently the most important people to you?
Self, husband, sons

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
Highly interesting, a little literal

15. Would you rather be single and rich or married but poor?
Eek.  Rich and married would be my first choice.  I've found marriedand middle class quite satisfying.  Of course, Id follow my beloved to the poorhouse and beyond, if needed.

16. How many children do you want to have, if any?
two.  Unless I was rich and could have housekeepers and cooks.  Then I'd have many.

17. What's better: to give or to receive?
receiving!  Are you kidding?

18. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?
Assumption: one is required to choose one or the other. One could choose neither, or both. Loving a person is not the same as owning, or even marrying a person.

19. Would you have 100% safe sex with a stranger for $10,000,000?
In a heartbeat.  But I'd have to have the money first.

20. What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite gender?
I've never asked.  I wonder if they even picked out a name before I was born.  I know there was much disagreement and compromise on the final choice, and the spelling.

I'll probably get around to doing this meme, since it's circulating in my orbit. But I just had to giggle at the instructions: "those who are tagged cannot refuse."
